L1/Privacy policy/Residential electrician, Phoenix AZ

Your job details stay 36 months, then they are deleted.

This is what a residential electrician in Phoenix actually keeps when you send an inquiry, open the chat or land here from an ad. Below that: who else gets a copy, and the one email that gets it deleted.

Privacy Policy · Twenty-one sections in four parts

Controller: Livewire Electrician · livewire-electrician.org · Version 1.0 · Last updated October 1, 2026

Part IWho runs this site and what it takes

§1 Effective date. This policy takes effect on October 1, 2026 and is the version in force from that day. It was last updated on October 1, 2026. Any earlier wording is replaced in full. The date at the top of this page and the date here are always the same; if they ever disagree, the later one governs.

§2 Controller. The business that decides what happens to your data is Livewire Electrician, trading as LiveWire Electrician at livewire-electrician.org. Postal address: 4605 E Mountain Vista Dr, Phoenix, Arizona 85048, United States. Email [email protected], phone 253-414-2159. We are a residential electrical contractor working on houses in Phoenix and Ahwatukee. There is no parent company and no data broker behind the site. The people who read your inquiry are the people who come out and run the load calculation on your panel.

§3 Data collected. The inquiry form on the contact page and the home page sends us your name, phone number, email, the job address, the kind of inquiry you picked, your message, the specification you selected (charger, panel, rewire and so on) and whether you ticked the consent box.

With that, the server records on its own the IP address you sent from, your browser's user-agent string, the referring URL, the moment the form was rendered and the moment it was sent. The two time stamps are there to catch bots that fill a form in under a second.

The support chat keeps the conversation itself, plus any name, phone or email you choose to give it, and stores a token in your browser so you can come back to the same thread. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser under site_consent_v2. When you arrive from a paid ad, the landing URL carries a click identifier, gclid, msclkid or fbclid, which can travel with your inquiry as its source. Advertising and analytics cookies are set only after you press Allow; the full list is on the cookie policy.

We take no account, no password, no payment and no card data. Nothing is sold on this site and no money changes hands through it. Please do not send us photographs of documents with ID numbers on them. A photo of your panel label is plenty.

§4 Purposes. Contact details and the job address are used to call you back, book the site visit and write the quote. The message and specification tell us whether to bring a clamp meter and a ladder or a whole panel. Chat content is used to answer you and nothing else.

IP address, user-agent and time stamps are used to stop spam and abuse of the form and the chat. Click identifiers and the consent-gated ad cookies are used to tell Google, Microsoft and Meta which ad produced an inquiry, so we stop paying for the ones that do not. Analytics storage, where allowed, counts visits and pages read. We do not build profiles of you, we do not sell lists, and we do not use your number for marketing calls about other work.

Part IIAdvertising, Consent Mode and who receives data

§6 Ad platforms. We buy paid search and social ads, and they send people to this site. Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising send traffic here today, and Meta Ads sends traffic here whenever a campaign runs on Facebook or Instagram. When you click one of those ads the platform adds its own click identifier to the link: gclid for Google Ads, msclkid for Microsoft Advertising, fbclid for Meta Ads. The site reads that identifier from the address bar when you land.

If you have allowed storage, the identifier is kept in a first-party cookie and reported back to the platform when an inquiry is sent, as a conversion. If you have declined, the identifier is not written to storage and no conversion cookie is set. None of the three platforms has been told your name, phone or address by us, and none of them has reviewed or approved this site; they simply carry the ad.

§8 Recipients. These are the parties that receive data, named one at a time:

  1. Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC, for Google Ads. Receives the gclid, the conversion event and the Consent Mode signals.
  2. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, for Microsoft Advertising. Receives the msclkid and the conversion event. Its handling is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
  3. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, for Meta Ads. Receives the fbclid and the conversion event where a campaign runs there.
  4. The hosting provider that serves this site and stores the inquiry database and chat transcripts.
  5. The mail provider that carries the notification of each inquiry to our inbox.

That is the whole list. We hand data to a building inspector or a utility only where your own job needs it, for example the service address on a panel-change disconnect order.

§9 Transfers. We are in the United States and the data is collected here. If you reach the site from Europe, what you send crosses to the US. The ad platforms may move data between their US and Irish entities. Those transfers rest on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses that the platforms include in their own terms. We do not send your data to any other country ourselves.

Part IIIHow long, how safe, and who it is for

§10 Retention. Real periods, not "as long as necessary". Inquiries and their email copies: 36 months, which covers a quote, the job, the inspection and the follow-up call when a breaker you were told about finally trips. Chat transcripts: 18 months. Server and access logs: 90 days. The record of your consent choice: 6 months. When a period runs out the record is deleted, not archived. A record under a pending data request or a dispute is held until that is settled, then the clock applies.

Schedule B. Inquiry and its email copy, 36 months, in the inquiry database and our inbox. Chat transcript, 18 months, at the hosting provider. Server and access logs, 90 days, at the hosting provider. Consent choice site_consent_v2, 6 months, in your browser.

§11 Security. Every page and every form post travels over HTTPS. The inquiry store and the chat log sit outside the public web folder and are reachable only through a password-protected operator panel. Form posts are checked for the two hidden honeypot fields and for a render-to-send time that no person could manage, and junk is dropped before it is stored. Only people who quote and do the work can read inquiries. We do not print them and leave them on a van dashboard. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we tell you by email or phone without delay and say what was exposed.

§12 Children. This site is for homeowners booking electrical work. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly take data from them. If a child has sent us something, tell us and we delete it the same week.

Part IVYour rights and how to use them

§13 Rights under the GDPR. If you reach the site from the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you these rights, and we honor each one: access to a copy of what we hold; rectification of anything wrong; erasure; restriction of use while a question is sorted out; portability, meaning a copy in a plain machine-readable file; objection to processing we do on legitimate interest; and withdrawing consent at any time, which does not undo what was lawful before it. Withdrawal of cookie consent takes one click on Cookie settings in the footer.

§14 US state rights. California residents have rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and residents of other states with privacy laws in force, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and the rest, have similar ones. You may know what we collect and why, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Passing a click identifier to an ad platform for conversion measurement can count as sharing under the CCPA, so declining cookies, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, is your opt-out. Using any of these rights never changes the price or the quality of the work we quote.

§15 Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the Sec-GPC header, we treat it as an opt-out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. The four Consent Mode signals stay denied and we do not ask you again. To allow storage anyway you would have to turn GPC off yourself.

§16 Complaints. Write to us first and we will try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to your state Attorney General, in Arizona the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, and in California to the California Privacy Protection Agency. Visitors from Europe may complain to the data protection authority of the country they live in.

§17 Changes. When this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new version number and effective date at the top, and the cookie bar asks again if the change touches cookies or advertising. If a change affects data you already sent us, we email you before it applies. Old versions are kept and sent on request.

§18 Data request. To use any right in sections 13 to 15, email [email protected] with "Data request" in the subject, or write to Livewire Electrician, 4605 E Mountain Vista Dr, Phoenix, Arizona 85048, United States. Say which right, and give the name and phone or email you used with us so we can find the record. We may ask one question to confirm it is you, usually the job address. An authorized agent may act for you with your signed permission. We answer within 5 days. There is no charge.

Fastest route: [email protected], subject line "Data request". Phone 253-414-2159 works too; we confirm in writing.

§19 Accessibility. We build this site to WCAG 2.2 level AA as our target. Body text meets AA contrast on every ground, every control has a visible label and a 44 pixel tap target, focus is shown with a solid orange outline, the menu and the chat work from the keyboard, and motion such as the rotating headline word and the parallax layers stops when your device asks for reduced motion. On a phone this policy reflows into a single column instead of scrolling the page sideways.

If something does not work with your screen reader, magnifier or switch device, call 253-414-2159 or email [email protected] and tell us the page. We will take the inquiry by phone in the meantime and fix the page.

§20 Contact. A person reads every message. Email [email protected], call 253-414-2159, or post to 4605 E Mountain Vista Dr, Phoenix, Arizona 85048, United States. Questions about the work itself go through the contact page; questions about cookies have their own answers on the cookie policy, and quoting terms are on the terms page.

§21 Law. This policy is governed by the law of Arizona, United States, and disputes about it are heard in the courts of Phoenix. That does not take away any right the law of your own state or country gives you and that cannot be signed away.
